David Yankey accepts the 2012 Morris Trophy from Traci Morris Drake.

Yankey was just the second Stanford offensive lineman to win the Morris Trophy. He was a two-time All American at Stanford where the Cardinal won the Pac 12 title in 2012 and 2013 season. Yankey won the Morris Trophy as a sophomore and after his junior season announced he was leaving Stanford to enter the NFL draft. He was a fifth-round selection by Minnesota in the 2014 draft and played two seasons with them before joining Carolina for the 2016 season. The Panthers now have four former Morris Trophy winners (Ryan Kalil, Matt Kalil, Star Lotolelei, and Yankey) on their roster for 2017.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
