Danny Villa was the team captain and anchor of the 1986 Sun Devils’ offensive line that propelled Arizona State to their first Pac-10 Conference title and the 1987 Rose Bowl crown. He was a 1986 consensus All-America pick, the first offensive lineman at Arizona State to achieve this status. In addition to the Morris Trophy he was a finalist for the Outland Trophy. He was drafted by the New England Patriots and played 11 seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, the Chiefs, the Panthers, and the Cardinals.
