Kennedy anchored the UW offensive line during a four year stretch when the Dawgs went 39 and 9 and won two Rose Bowls. He was the only unanimous first-team All-American from the PAC-10 in 1992. In addition to winning the Morris Trophy for the second time in 1992 he was a finalist for the Lombardi Award and semi-finalist for Outland Trophy. Kennedy was taken with the ninth overall pick in the 1993 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He had a ten-year NFL career with the Falcons and Oakland Raiders, was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and an NFL ALL-Pro in 2001 and 2002. He joins Roy Foster and Alex Mack as two time winners of the Morris Trophy on the offensive side of the ball.
