Yusuf Scott spearheaded play as an offensive guard for the Arizona Wildcats during its best-ever season in 1998, when the club finished 12-1 and beat Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl, completing the season as the No. 4-ranked team by Associated Press. He earned second-team All-America honors from Football News and third-team citation from AP. He was a first-team All-Pac-10 pick his junior year, after which he entered the NFL Draft and was taken by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round. He played three years in the NFL.
