Bill Swancutt not only won the Morris Trophy in 2004 he was also the Pat Tillman Co-Defensive Player of the Year as a senior for the Pac-10 Conference. Following his final OSU season, he played in the Senior Bowl where he was named the Defensive MVP. The three-time Pac-10 All-Academic selection left OSU as the school’s all-time leader for quarterback sacks with 37 and tackle-for-loss with 59.5. Swancutt was drafted by the Detroit Lions, but suffered a career-ending knee injury during his second year in the NFL.
