Emtman is considered by many to be the best and most dominant player in University of Washington history. You’d need a big trophy case to hold the hardware he won during UW’s 1991 national championship season. That season Emtman was a consensus All-American, the PAC 10 Defensive Player of the Year, and the UPI Lineman of the Year. In addition to his second Morris Trophy he won the Outland Trophy, the Lombardi Award, and finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy balloting.  Emtman was the first overall pick in the 1992 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.  He also played for the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins. He was named to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006. He was the second of five men to win the Morris Trophy twice. (Dana Wells, Sedrick Ellis, Stephen Paea, Will Sutton.)
