Su’a-Filo with his parents at the 2013 Morris Trophy luncheon.

Su’a-Filo became just the second UCLA offensive lineman to win the Morris Trophy. He started 13 games for the Bruins as a freshman and then left for two years on a Mormon Mission to Florida. For that job, he had a special bike built capable of holding his 300-pound frame. He played both tackle and guard for UCLA upon his return. He was the first pick of the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft, the highest a UCLA lineman had been taken since fellow Morris Trophy winner Jonathan Ogden in 1996.
