The Morris Trophy was just one of several honors Thibodeaux has been given during his illustrious career. He was the USA Today High School Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, a unanimous all-American in 2021, and capped off his first year in the NFL by being named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie team.  

Oregon was 26 and 9 during his three years in Eugene and won the 2020 Rose Bowl. He was the fifth player taken in the 2022 NFL draft, a first round selection by the New York Giants.
